The optional RS-232 and RS-485 serial ports offered with the ROTrol II Controller allow continuous communication to a Personal Computer, a Remote Display / Alarm Unit, or a Dot Matrix Printer.

Description:

The optional RS-232 and RS-485 serial ports offered with the ROTrol II controller allow continuous communication to a Personal Computer, a Remote Display / Alarm Unit, or a Dot Matrix Printer.

With the PC, operating data can be displayed on the monitor, stored for later use, or trended to create a planned preventive maintenance program.

The Remote Display / Alarm Unit displays the current operating status of the RO unit on its LCD screen and indicates any alarm condition with both an audible and a visual alarm.

Direct link to a serial port Dot Matrix Printer allows operating data to be stored, downloaded and printed for a permanent record of the RO unit's performance.
